Dear Mr. Caruso,
I want to start off by saying that listening to you speak on Friday afternoon changed my life. I am a 27 year old teacher, and I have been teaching for the past 5 years, but really I think all my life. Teaching had always been my passion, until recently. Living in Miami Fl, has its advantages and disadvantages. One of the disadvantages is that Miami is a very expensive city, but it is my home town. I recently fell in love, the type of love I know you must have with your wife because of the way I saw you look at her. Well this girl I fell in love with captured my heart so much that we have decided to get married next year. As the marriage process is going on I started to realize that making ends meet was going to be difficult for us since we are both educators. I also realized that it seems to get harder and harder to teach my boys at my High School every year. So for the past two months, I had started to think of other career paths.
I am writing to you to tell you that this is no longer the case. After hearing your speech I realized I am a teacher, friend, coach, and moderator. That is what I am meant to do on this earth. Thank you for showing me that the power of education is the most important job on earth. I began to lose focus a little, but you helped me get back on track. I will never forget your speech as long as I live. "Bring all you are to all you do-it's all you'll need"
Thank you.
