"When I heard that we had a 'motivational speaker' for the Heavy Duty Business Forum dinner, I thought "Been there, done that". Well once again I was wrong. After a wonderful evening with Joe, I realized I had not "been there and done that." Joe's opening salvo immediately wakes you up to reality. His words and the way he lives his life are messages for all of us. I am a better person for having heard him speak and will lead my company with a greater understanding of the big picture."
—Tim Musgrave, President & CEO of Pressure Systems International
Joe Caruso was only 18 when he lost control of his life in a dramatic way. He was diagnosed with an incurable cancer. Joe decided to commit whatever short time he had left to studying life and learning what he calls the simple, common, timeless, human truths. After radical, experimental chemotherapy and four major surgeries, Joe became one of the first people cured of advanced testicular cancer.
For the decades since his diagnosis, Joe has kept his commitment to studying human interaction and in doing so has become one of the most respected authorities on human development and transformation thinking. His lessons have been used by businesses and organizations throughout the world, especially when radical change is needed to transform behavior in order to create different outcomes.
Today, Joe is working with CEO's and admirals on the essence of change for success.
Having grown up in Downriver Detroit with his parents and three brothers, Joe currently resides in Grosse Ile, Michigan with his wife, Carol.
